We have heard that many of our Boston and Westwood students would like to have after-school playdates, but that figuring out good timing can be challenging.

For this reason, we will choose a short Wednesday to be Welcome Club Playdate Day! On this day, Westwood Welcome Club students are encouraged to invite a Boston friend (or friends) to a playdate at their house after school for a few hours, before the bus heads back to Boston at 3p. We recognize this may not work for all families, since some Westwood kids also go to Extended Day on Wednesdays, but our hope is that between having some advance notice and some parents working from home, it might be possible for families to find a way to take advantage of this opportunity.
