Individual Learning PLan (ILP)

All students in grades 6-12 are required to have an ILP per the Rhode Island Department of Education.

WHAT IS AN ILP? The Individual Learning Plan (ILP) is a student-directed planning and monitoring tool that customizes learning opportunities throughout students' secondary school experience, broadens their perspectives, and supports attainment of goals. The ILP documents students’ interests, needs, supports, course selections (including access to college level programming), transition placements and other learning experiences both in and out of school. This information produces a thoughtful program of study leading to proficiency for graduation and postsecondary experiences.

West Warwick Public Schools will be using the Pathway platform by Folderwave. Your children set up their accounts last week. The administration team will be sending out their first lesson tomorrow morning via their email. Please remind them to be on the lookout for our email. Mrs. Papito created video directions to assist them on lesson one. The students will have two weeks to complete this lesson. They can work on their ILP lessons on Mondays for all models or on DL days if they are in the hybrid model. Their teachers may even give them time during the long period (period 5 lunch block).
