We are always looking for new members, especially those who are interested in website design and upkeep, graphic design, reading/writing, and layout. What Joining Means For You
Soundings is not a huge time commitment—we generally meet once a week for around 40 minutes—contact our editors or faculty advisor if you have questions about what joining the club entails.
We always love new perspectives and voices (that is what the club is designed for), so don't be afraid to speak up! This club is where you can empower and enhance the voices behind Staples, and where you can effect real change.
As a member of Soundings, you will mainly participate in a selection process (where you review your peers work alongside other members to decide which pieces will form the annual magazine). In normal years, you may also help organize and participate in fundraisers. Best of all, you will communicate with your peers in a light-hearted, yet focused, environment—to better Soundings and the Staples community.
