Roosevelt Middle School 8th to 9th Grade Scheduling Process
The RMS School Counselors met with all 8th-grade students during their Science classes to inform them of the scheduling process for high school.
Here were the dates of the presentations:
January 6th, 2026 - Dr. Hayward's classes: Periods 3, 4, 7
January 7th, 2026 - Ms. Kalenak's classes: Periods 1, 4, 6, 7
January 8th, 2026 - Ms. Miller and Mr. Dufresne's classes: Periods 3, 6, 7

Here is the paper form students will have to submit by Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 to their school counselor. They will all receive this form during the presentation in the science classes.
Special programs: if your child wants to apply to a special program or an elective that requires an application, please contact their school counselor.
All students who qualify for IH and IMS were given the application on January 20th, 2026.
Students will be notified of their acceptance to special programs when we hear back from the high school.
Upcoming Due dates:
January 22nd, 2026: ALL electives must be chosen and the paper form submitted to the School Counselor.
February 2nd, 2026: ALL SPECIAL PROGRAM applications DUE
