Camp Falcon & Junior Falcon

Camp Falcon and Junior Falcon are summer day camps based at West Orange High School.

Camp Falcon runs June 26-30th and is open to students in grades 7-11. It is primarily for:

Current ROTC cadets enrolled in the West Orange Air Force Junior ROTC program

Students newly accepted into the West Orange Air Force Junior ROTC program

- Non-cadets that are looking for a fun challenge!

Camp Junior Falcon runs July 10-14th and is open to ALL students ages 9-14 who want to learn about the United States Armed Forces and have FUN doing so!

Both programs are run by West Orange High School Air Force Junior ROTC Program Director Major Joseph Marchesini and his staff of students and professionals ranging from current Junior ROTC cadet senior staff members to alumni  and friends currently serving in all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

Students who attend will train at West Orange High School, as well as nearby military bases.

While traveling, students will receive tours and access to military areas normally restricted to the general public.

(Note: Camp Junior Falcon does not travel off campus...we will bring the military to you!)

Students will learn teamwork, discipline, respect for our military and the United States of America, build self confidence, and experience a sense of accomplishment while having fun!

Check out the sample activities below. Many Falcon and Junior Falcon activities are the same, although the Junior activities are tailored to be age-appropriate.
