"Great White Shark Adventure", Fabien Cousteau, Field School, March 2019
Field School welcomed ocean explorer, conservationist and documentary filmmaker Fabien Cousteau, grandson of famed French explorer Jacques Cousteau, on Monday, March 11th, 2019. Fabien led a discussion with all 5th Grade classes on new graphic novel about sharks!
Rob Buyea
Author Rob Buyea visited Field School on Monday, October 7th, 2019 to work with all 5th Grade classes in the library. Rob guided students through making notes of ideas, constructing a story and the process for editing a book. He talked about books he has read and other authors that inspire him through great writing and interesting characters. Rob featured books from his Mr. Terrupt series, and students were afforded a sneak peek into his new book The Perfect Star one week ahead of it's official release!
