Reach out & Connect!

Hello, parents of amazing 3rd graders!

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share some exciting plans for the upcoming school year!

About Me:

I go by a few names: Jake, Mr. Ginga, Mr. G, and occasionally Makerjake. I wear many hats as an educator, painter, and public artist. My home is in Norton, and I'm thrilled to be entering my 8th year of teaching here in Weston. I hold a BFA in Art Education and an MA in Teaching and Learning from Northeastern University. One of the aspects I'm particularly passionate about is sharing insights with my students about life as a professional artist, which I believe is a vital component of arts education.

My Role:

In our art program, I have the privilege of teaching most of the 3rd grade and all of the 4th and 5th-grade artists. Dana Lanciloti, my wonderful colleague, covers the younger grades. Together, we are dedicated to nurturing your child's creativity and artistic growth.

Exciting Plans Ahead:

This year promises to be filled with creativity and learning. We have some fantastic projects lined up that will not only allow your children to express themselves but also lay the important groundwork for the larger projects they'll tackle in the coming years at Weston.

Get in Touch:

I want to make sure that you have open lines of communication with me. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or simply want to chat about your child's artistic journey, please don't hesitate to reach out. You can email me, set up a call, or we can arrange to meet in person.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of your children better over the next three years. Thank you for entrusting their artistic development to us. Let's make this school year a memorable and creative one!

Warmest regards,

Jake Ginga
