A Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) is a graduate-level professional who can independently provide behavior analytics services (BACB, n.d.).

Conducts intial assessments, identifies functional behavior targets, writes and contributes to individualized plans, trains staff, analyzes progress data, and modifies strategies to address behavior. Requires a graduate level degree or higher and certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®

Behavior Interventionist
Works face to face or more directly with individual receiving behavior services. Records real time data and implements behavior plans as directed by a behavior analyst. Requires at least a high school diploma.
