Self-Rescuing Princess

Self-Rescuing Princess has axe and a mace-

And when she’s in armor, a smile’s on her face.

The princess we speak of is gentle and mild-

At least when she’s sharing her time with a child.

This princess can duel you with form and with style-

You know you’re in peril when she starts to smile.

Self-Rescuing Princess is good with a sword-

She can fend for herself, she’s no mighty king’s ward.

On horseback you know that her aim’s always true-

To boast you can best her’s a claim you will rue.

Her people adore her, they’re safe in her care-

And if they’re in need she will always be there.

Self-Rescuing Princess has style and has grace-

And when she’s in armor, a smile’s on her face.
