Viscount Sir Cormac Ciúin will lead you through a series of scenarios wrapping up with a resurrection battle.
Rapier Melee
Join us for an epic clash of steel and strategy as rapier fighters from across the land converge to determine the fate of our realms. Arts & Science activities
Arts & Science Competition - The Subtle Art of War
Not all war was won on the battle field. Legend of daggers cleverly disguised as hair sticks, teapots that only make one person gravely ill, everyone's favorite poison dress, there are many ways to quietly win wars. The Honorable Lady Brigid O'Connor has planned a devious art competition.
Art - Something decorative or nice that isn't what it seems. See above for examples.
Science - Things Not Realized. Document a chemical compound and how it could have been used to remove opposition, example, long term exposure to lead-based paint, or what exactly was on that teapot that made someone gravely ill?
Scriptorium
Quills will fly as artisans of the principalities race against the clock to complete scrolls. Her Honorable Ladyship Hrefna í Stranda has organized a competition to see which principality is more productive. Come to support your team, stay to enjoy eachother's company!
Equestrian activities
Equestrian-Tasks Hunt (commences Saturday AM)
Meet with Else Saturday am to retrieve your list of tasks and points. Rider, drivers, and stick horse riders welcome. Participants complete as many items on the list as they care to and totals will be calculated by division, individual, and Principality at the end of the day. Some examples of points earning options below.
Camping with your Horse (all weekend)
This is a primitive site with no built in infrastructure for horses. There is however ample space to set up corrals and many trees to use to highline. Non-potable water is available near the site entrance. Lady Ljufvina will be the Equine Marshall in Charge, covering camping with your horse.
Trail Rides (at your leisure)
This massive property is really nothing but space to ride - spectate, explore, and/or interact with the populace. Please clean up after any horse manure deposited in common areas.
Jareed/Juego de Canas (battlefield - midday)
Come enjoy this period game on the battlefield at the lunch break. Jereeds provided. Bring your own horse/human eye protection. CLICK HERE TO READ THE RULES
