I would strongly encourage you to consider getting a Texas Instrument 30XIIS Scientific Calculator.

The TI-30 can be used on the state test. It is also the same calculator you will use in 7th and 8th grade.

You can find the TI-30XIIS at most stores with back to school supplies (The color doesn't matter).
