Your Turn

Time to put it all together and transform a tradition lesson by applying that which you have learned!

Overview:

In this module, you will be transforming a traditional lesson you have taught in the past by integrating at least one of the technology tools you learned about in this class.

Objectives:

  • Transform a lesson plan that you will teach by integrating at least one of the technology tools you learned about in this class.
  • Deploy your lesson with your students (not required in the summer session)
  • Share your lesson with your classmates
  • Reflect on your experience
  • Complete the Post-Test
  • Complete the Course Evaluation

Student Responsibilities: Please complete the tasks and share your thoughts on Google Classroom.

Tasks:

    • Open this Google Doc, which will serve as a collaborative space to share your lesson for the Introduction to Google Drive course. To get started, open the linked document above, click “Insert”, and select “Page Break” to start your own page within the document. Use the criteria in the bulleted list below to share a lesson you created that integrates that which you learned in this course.
    • Please include the following on your Google-enhanced lesson:
      • Your name, grade level and subject area.
      • Your transformed lesson plan that includes the following:
        • Lesson objectives
        • Common Core Learning Standards associated with your lesson
        • Duration
        • List of required materials
        • Lesson procedure--please be specific and include detailed instructions to replicate the lesson
        • Assessment plan
        • Accommodations for students with disabilities
        • Supplemental materials in digital format.
        • Links to web-based resources.
    • Complete the Google Skills Post-Test to help me determine if I have met my course objectives (Note: The Google Skills Post-Test contains the same questions as the Pre-Test).
    • Complete the Course Evaluation.

      • Is there a particular tool/resource you learned about that is your favorite?

      • What is the most valuable thing you will take away from this course?
