Includes audio and video lectures, short talks, ebooks and etexts that are downloadable and in the public domain or licensed for free educational use. The site was developed by the faculty of English Language and Literature at Oxford University.
UK RED
UK RED captures the reading tastes and habits of the famous and the ordinary, the young and the old, men and women. The texts range from books and newspapers to ephemera such as playbills and tickets, and from illuminated manuscripts, novels and poetry to tombstone inscriptions and graffiti.

OpenLearn: OpenLearn contains free courses on various subjects. You can browse subject categories to explore topics and find reference materials.
Post-Colonial Literature contains works written in English by citizens of former British colonies other than the U.S. and Canada. Some non-western literature may also be included.
Twentieth Century Poetry Resources Created by Ishikawa of Kobe University in Japan, this site provides pages that contain photographs, biographical sketches, and bibliographies of selected twentieth century poets.
