The district offers insurance plans to all full time employees (EE who work over 30 hrs. per week). We have 3 health insurance plans, dental insurance, vision insurance, life, ltd, ad&d and several other optional plans. Your annual exam is covered in your health insurance plan at no cost, this is just for materials only (ie: contacts, frames, lenses etc.)

Advantage Administrators provides our Flex Benefits plan and administers our HSA accounts. These accounts are optional. If you choose to enroll in the HDHP 2500 Health Insurance Plan you will need to set up an HSA.
Contribution Limits are below for 2025:
IRS Maximum for MedFlex/Limited Flex is $3,300
IRS Maximum for Dependent Care is $5,000
IRS Maximum for HSA Single $4,300 Family $8,550 and $1,000 catch up for age 55 by the end of year.
What is the difference?
The biggest difference in Flex and HSA is the Health Savings Account (HSA) does not need to be used by a certain time, it stays with you forever, the Flex spending account has an expiration, or a "use it or lose it" rule. You would want to take Flex if you knew you had things you wanted to save tax dollars on!

The district provides $20,000 in life insurance for all Certified/Non Certified Staff and $50,000 in life insurance for all Administrative Staff.
In addition, we offer a voluntary plan. A new employee is able to enroll with no health screening for themselves or their family members. New Employees are the only ones who are allowed to enroll with no questions asked. If you choose to enroll next year at Open Enrollment you will be required by The Hartford to complete the Health Screening in order to qualify for coverage. **Keep that in mind when considering the voluntary plan**

10 Sick days (add 1 additional each year until at 15 per year)
Can accumulate a max of 115 days
5 days may be allocated for Family Illness
$200 per year payment for not using any sick days
$100 for using 1- 3 sick leave days
2 personal days (3 personal days after 15 continuous years in the district)
Can accumulate up to a Max of 4 days
Per Diem pay out for any days you are not able to carry over to the next year
Year Round employees receive Vacation days based on their contract
