Member Responsibilities

Membership in this chapter shall be based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character. 

RESPONSIBILITIES ARE DETAILED ON THE STUDENT PARENT AGREEMENT.  Please read carefully. 

Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities by:

• Maintaining a cumulative 3.600 GPA. 

• Obtaining a minimum number of service hours in addition to your NHS commitments: Forty (40) hours for each school year.

• Continuing to participate in a leadership role. 

• Continuing to display outstanding character traits

NHS Commitments include:

• Attending monthly meeting (last Wednesday of each month unless otherwise announced)

• Participation in one NHS committee

• Annual Dues
