 Classroom Student Supplies . . .

This year, your child is asked to bring the following school supplies on the first day of school.  These supplies will be shared classroom supplies and used throughout the school year.

·   24 count Crayola crayons

·   1 pack of 12 Crayola colored pencils

·   1 pack of 10 markers (standard colors)

- 2 dry erase Expo markers

·   5 glue sticks

·   1 pack #2 Pencils

Your child will also need a set of headphones to use with classroom Chrome Books.  These can be labeled with your child's name, and will be returned at the end of the school year.

Occasionally, you may need to replenish your child’s school supplies.  I encourage you to purchase extra supplies during the “back to school” sales.  Keep these supplies available at home when needed.

Throughout the school year, I may ask for various classroom donations to help keep our classroom running smoothly.  Donations are always greatly appreciated.

Special Classroom Wishes . . .

The items below are classroom wish list items that could potentially enrich our learning experiences.  If you are able to assist with the purchase of any of these items, simply click on the link to Amazon.  We greatly appreciate all of your support and assistance throughout the school year.

As our Literacy curriculum has been evolving and changing, I am looking for new and exciting ways for students to learn and practice skills.  I have purchased a few Jot Boogie Board Writing Tablets. They will be an amazing tool to assist in small groups learning, individual reinforcement and perhaps someday whole class instruction.  We will be using them to practice handwriting, learn spelling patterns, practice sight words and take notes on stories and characters.  If you are able to donate a Boogie Board Writing Tablet, we would greatly appreciate it and put it to good use.

Wooden Reading Blocks and the Sight Word Recognition Game would also provide us with independent practice and small group reinforcement.

As we work on building a classroom community and some STEM team building activities we could use a few fun manipulatives and tools to support our work.

Mini Puzzle Blocks are a great tool with open ended possibilities.
