Hello Tamaques! One of the ways we help our first graders get acclimated to Tamaques is through the 1st and 5th grade buddies program! Throughout the year, paired classrooms meet for a variety of different activities and lessons that evolve around team building, character development and forming healthy friendships. Please refrain from getting out of your vehicles to escort your child to the sidewalk as it slows down the flow of traffic. Also pulling up as far as you can and not stopping at the beginning or middle of the line helps increase traffic flow.
