Report Cards/Grading

Distinguished Honor Roll

To be included on the Distinguished Honor Roll, a student must obtain a grade of "A" in all subjects.

Grades

Grades are assigned by each teacher each marking period and reflect effort, progress, responsibility and performance in relation to state standards.  You will be informed at the beginning of each course what your teacher’s specific requirements are for completing assignments, participating in class discussions, studying for tests and evaluating quality and performance.  If you ever have a question about your grades, it is your responsibility to ask for “conference time” with your teacher and/or counselor.

Honor Roll

To be included on the Honor Roll, a student must obtain a grade of "A" or "B" in all subjects.

Interim Reports and Report Cards

Interim reports are mid-marking period reports which are used to formally advise parents of concerns about a student’s academic and/or social progress when deemed advisable by the teacher.  Because this brief report cannot give complete information, parents are encouraged to email the teacher to arrange for a conference.  

Report Cards are issued to all students four times a year and are available through the Parent Portal.

1st Marking Period

September 1, 2026 through November 9, 2026

Interim Progress Reports issued: October 2, 2026

Report cards issued: November 17, 2026

2nd Marking Period 

November 10, 2026 through January 25, 2027

Interim Progress Reports issued: December 11, 2026

Grade 8 Geometry Aptitude test: December 17 & 18, 2026

Grade 6 Math Midterm Exam: January 21, 2027

Grade 7 Math Midterm Exam: January 21 & 22, 2027

Grade 8 Math Midterm Exam: January 21 & 22, 2027

Report cards issued: February 9, 2027

3rd Marking Period 

January 26, 2027 through April 12, 2027

Interim Progress Reports issued: March 1, 2027

Report cards issued: April 20, 2027

4th Marking Period 

April 13, 2027 through June 16, 2027

Interim Progress Reports issued: May 13, 2027

Grade 6 Math Cumulative Exam: May 20, 2027

Grades 7 & 8 Math Cumulative Exam: June 8 & 9, 2027
