Intro to Computer Science Grade 7

The 7th grade component of the Curriculum for Computer Science provides project based opportunities for students to enhance and apply the computer science learning and skills acquired in grade 6. 

Students begin by exploring apps to learn about how technology can influence society. They will use what they learned about the power of technology to communicate their ideas via an infographic that is presented to the class. They will also devlop skills in research, data manipulation and reporting as they explore methods for data acquisition and analysis.  Finally,  students will apply coding and graphic design skills in order to create working Apps!
