Mock Trial is a project based course that provides students with an authentic learning experience. In this hands-on course, students are given an overview of the civil court system and learn the parts of a civil trial from start to finish by following a mock trial problem from the New Jersey State Bar Association. Students will engage in and develop public speaking, advocacy, organization and writing skills as they navigate through this unique learning environment. Students will prepare and present a case from inception through trial and the appellate process.
