Back To School

     Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Mr. Borja and I will be your teacher this year. Unfortunately, the summer has to end, but why should the fun stop! Be prepared to work hard this year and have fun while doing it! I am looking forward to the first day of school and have been preparing for it for most of the summer. I have been working hard organizing exciting and challenging work for you! I can’t wait to get to know you all. Enjoy the rest of the summer. I’ll see you soon!

     In order to best meet the specific needs of your child, I would appreciate if you would write to me and share your thoughts on your child’s learning style and interests.(e-mail preferred) I would like you to include anything you feel relevant that might increase your child’s success. I would like to know about their personality; strengths and weaknesses; their goals for the school year; and your goals for the school year. I will make sure to contact you during the first few weeks of school so that we may discuss any concerns that you may have. The students in my classroom are very important to me and I will do anything in my power to keep them successful.  I look forward to meeting you in the near future and thank you for taking the time necessary to provide me with information about your child.
