Received a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Architecture from Philadelphia University (now known as Jefferson University)
Practiced commercial architecture & design for about 6 years in both Philadelphia and NYC. I worked on various project types which included hospitals, law firms, and corporate offices. I received my LEED GA certification for work on sustainable designs.
Clients included: Google, NBC, The NBA, St. Barnabas Hospital, and Virtua Hospital.
Received teaching certification through the alternate route for teaching program
Practice interior design on the side. This allows me to stay active in the industry while also allowing myself to stay creative.
Worked at a high school in Bergen County for 6 years prior to joining Westfield in 2020 where I taught engineering and architecture courses.
I have a true passion for teaching and truly believe I found my purpose when I transitioned into this career. With my industry experience, I bring real world scenarios, concepts, and expectations into the classroom. I am a strong believer that hard work & perseverance can truly define your success in the future and I encourage this mindset in all my classes. I have always been amazed at what my students have been able to create throughout the years. They all have the ability to do great things and I have high expectations for them because I believe this so strongly. I truly cannot wait to see what all the students create this year!
