Ancient and Medieval Traditions explores the period from the birth of civilization to the end of the Middle Ages through the window of historical, textual, and visual learning. Students probe, investigate, and study the roots and subsequent development of Western and Middle Eastern cultural traditions and heritage. Students also trace the causes of the rise and fall of each civilization and connect them to modern issues facing contemporary society.
