Ensembles

4th Grade Beginner Orchestra

The Beginner Orchestra is composed of 4th graders and 5th graders just starting an instrument.  Instruments offered to beginners are  Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass. 

Students are offered  one weekly lesson during the school day and use the method book Essential Elements for Strings: Book 1.

 The beginner orchestra performs their concert in the spring. 

5th Grade Orchestra

The 5th grade ensemble consists of  students that have studied their instrument for at least one year in the beginner program, and/or had  previous private instruction. This group has two performances: a concert in the winter season and a spring concert.
