Caring Kid of the Week Information

Caring Kid Schedule of Events:

We have a special week planned for you with lots of fun activities!!! Please, check out the schedule below so you will be prepared for each day.

Monday-Share your poster with the class (Mrs. Carotenuto will give you your poster the Friday before and will display it in the classroom all week)

Tuesday-- Show and Tell Day!

Bring in one Show and Tell item. Please be ready to explain why you brought the item in and why it is special.

Wednesday- Parent Letter Day

Parents will write a surprise letter to their child and I will read it to the class. Parents will write (type) a letter to the class telling us how special your child is to you. Email the letter, and I will read the letter to the class at class meeting. The content of the letter is up to you, but you may want to choose from the following ideas: Describe special stories about your child for the class to hear, write a silly or serious poem about your child, tell us some neat things we may not know about your child, send silly or special pictures with a letter describing the pictures, or write a short story with your child as the main character.

Thursday- Throw-back Thursday!

Bring in a few favorite photos to share with the class

Friday- Read a book to the class!

Select a picture book from home that would make a good read aloud. Pick something that you have practiced and are very comfortable reading or have Mrs. C. read it for you!
