Join us for a day filled with community spirit, entertainment, and celebration at WestFest!
Tickets are available for free through our website. We STRONGLY encourage all those planning to attend to reserve their tickets. It helps us anticipate numbers and informs us of which neighbourhoods people are coming from to better coordinate transit options.
An Edmonton Food Bank Donation Site will be established at WestFest. Considering tickets are free, we strongly encourage festival goers to bring a food bank donation or make a monetary donation as a gesture of support for the community.
DO enjoy the performances, activities, and local vendors throughout the festival grounds.
DO respect fellow festival goers and the festival staff.
DO have fun and embrace the community spirit.
DO bring your own chairs, blankets, sunscreen, rain jackets, umbrellas etc.
DO be a good neighbour and keep your area clean.
DON'T smoke or consume alcohol outside of the designated areas.
DON'T engage in any illegal activities.
WestFest is hosting a 50/50! Expect it to sell out, so this is your opportunity to win up to $10,000 in cash. Tickets can be purchased online, and there will be dozens of QR codes posted on site that patron’s can use to access the portal.
More information about ticket availability and drawing times will be provided at the festival.
WestFest is going to bring many people together and parking is going to be EXTREMELY LIMITED. There will be no public access to the parking lots at either school. We ask that you be courteous to the surrounding neighbourhood.
We encourage all festival-goers to exercise alternative transportation options to get to Webber Greens Park.
WALK: Webber Greens Park is centrally located, and thousands of community members can get there on foot within 15-20 minutes.
BIKE: We will have a bike lockup area, as well as dozens of racks at the schools at either end of the park (please use at your own risk)
RIDESHARE: Uber, Lyft, or have a friend drop you off. All Ride Share Services and dropoffs should be directed to the drop-off lane at Bishop David Motiuk School (South East corner of Webber Greens Park)
PARK-N-RIDE: Sponsored by ETS and Costco, if you prefer to drive then park at either the Lewis Farms Transit Centre or Costco on 215 Street. We have arranged a free charter bus service that will loop between those two transit endpoints and stop at the festival site. Service starts at 2 pm and goes every 30 minutes, until 4 pm when it increases to every 15 minutes. More buses will be added at the end of the night to get people back to their cars in short order.
Residents of Westview Village and Big Lake, Transit On-Demand services have had their holiday hours extended to 11:30 pm on July 1st to get you home as well. Check out the City of Edmonton’s site for how to use On Demand Transit, or download the app.
We understand that many of you have questions about bringing your furry friends to WestFest. We want to remind everyone that the rules and regulations regarding dogs in public parks still apply during the event. While dogs are allowed to be leashed in public parks, they are not allowed on school grounds, playgrounds, and sports fields. The primary festival location is located on the Webber Greens Sports Field, so please refrain from bringing your furry friends to the festival site.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, in other areas of Webber Greens Park, please keep your dogs leashed outside of designated off-leash areas and maintain a distance of 10m from playground structures. WestFest is expected to draw a crowd of over 3000 people throughout the day. If your dog's behavior becomes disruptive and interferes with the festival experience of those around you, we kindly ask that you respect the comfort of others and make the necessary arrangements for your dog's well-being outside the festival grounds.
Thank you for understanding and helping us create a positive and enjoyable environment for all festival goers.
