The Pride of the Mustangs
Westfall High School is located in Williamsport, Ohio, and proudly maintains several award winning instrumental performing ensembles throughout the school year.
Students may participate in the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, Color Guard, Percussion Ensemble, Chamber Ensembles, and Pep Band. The groups maintain an active performance schedule that includes service to the community, several concerts per year, football and basketball games and OMEA Adjudicated Events for marching band, concert band and solo and ensemble.
Students can choose to begin their instrumental music career as early as their 6th Grade year in the Cadet Band. In their second and third year of instruction they may be in either the Concert Band (7th) or Symphonic Band (8th).
The Westfall bands consider themselves a family and work to build community throughout the program and around the district.
A solid work ethic and self discipline is required for any group to succeed. Students are motivated to grow and develop in and out of the classroom.
As exemplified by our performance records, the band works to exhibit a high level of excellence. For more about this, go to the History of the Program tab.
