Westerville North Sports Network Broadcast Schedule 2025-26
The Westerville North Sports Network will provide LIVE play-by-play coverage of
fifteen (15) of the biggest Westerville North High School Athletic Contests in football,
girls basketball, and boys basketball in 2025-26. The broadcast coverage will
include HIGH DEFINITION VIDEO as well as live audio. Each broadcast begins 30
minutes prior to the scheduled start time with the pre-game show. The pre-game
show will feature interviews with the head coach, a detailed scouting report of the
opponent, the starting line-ups, and much more. Tune in after the game for
interviews with players and the head coach, along with a look at the final stats during
the post-game show. The broadcasts can be accessed by fans around the world on
their computer or handheld device. THERE IS NO COST TO WATCH WARRIORS
ATHLETICS ON THE WESTERVILLE NORTH SPORTS NETWORK!

Rick Cooper begins his 34th season as a play-by-play announcer in 2026-26, and his
12th behind the mic at Westerville North High School. Cooper has broadcasted 43
national championships at the collegiate level. Cooper spent 3 seasons with the
Marshall University Football Radio Network, which was composed of 35 radio stations
across 3 states. Cooper won 2 national championships and was an Academic All-
American as a basketball player at Kentucky Christian University back in 1995 and
1996. Cooper even won a national ESPN Dick Vitale Sound-A-Like Contest back in 1995
that won him a free trip to the Final 4 and an appearance on ESPN’S
SportsCenter…..and he was a Showcase Showdown Winner on The Price Is Right as
well!
Rick is a popular motivational motivational speaker, having spoken to over 100,000
students, men, and families at major conventions and events all over the country
including Summer In The Son, Christ In Youth (CIY), Ohio Teens For Christ, FCA Sports
Camps, Upwards Basketball Banquets, family retreats, high school commencements,
NCCAA National Championship Banquets, college fund-raisers, state-wide public high
school assemblies and conventions, and much more. Rick has interviewed Michael
Jordan, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jim Harbaugh, Phil Jackson, Clark Kellogg, A.C.
Green, Randy Moss, Orel Hershiser, Mike Singletary, Bob Uecker, “Rudy” Ruetiger, Rick
Pitino, and many more. Rick uses these experiences in sports to connect with
students, men, and families in a very unique way.
Rick resides in Groveport with his 3 boys: Ricky (24), Price (22), and Ty (17).
