WCSD’s Virtual Family Math Night Nov. 8
The Westerville City School District is hosting the final installment of their Virtual Family Math Nights for families and guardians of elementary students 6-7 p.m. Nov. 8 via Zoom.
WCSD Math Curriculum Specialist Heather Griffith will lead the session, which will focus on the Bridges math curriculum, feature activities families and guardians can do with their child(ren) and provide opportunities for participants to understand how the language we use can help our children see math challenges as opportunities to grow and improve.

The Westerville City School District hosted the second of three Virtual Family Math Nights for families and guardians of elementary students from 6-7 p.m. Oct. 4 via Zoom.
WCSD Math Curriculum Specialist Heather Griffith lead the session, which focused on the Bridges math curriculum, featured activities families and guardians can do with their child(ren) and provided opportunities for participants to understand key parts in developing mathematical fluency.
The final Virtual Family Math Night will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Nov. 8 via Zoom.

WCSD’s Virtual Family Math Night: Oct. 4
The Westerville City School District hosted the first of three Virtual Family Math Nights for families and guardians of elementary students from 6-7 p.m. October 4, 2021 via Zoom. More than 15 families and students attended the first ever event to learn about models used in the briges curriculum,
WCSD Math Curriculum Specialist Heather Griffith will lead the session, which will focus on the Bridges math curriculum, feature activities families and guardians can do with their child(ren) and provide opportunities for participants to understand visual models that help students conceptually understand math.
