The Stagedogs Logo
It is the mission of the Westerly High School Stagedogs to provide students with opportunities to participate in all aspects of creating excellent, live theatrical performances. As such we offer a full theater curriculum, produce at least one play and one musical per year, and partner with the Colonial Theatre and the United Theatre for workshops and internship opportunities. Additionally, the program seeks to engage the entire Westerly High School community. To that end, whenever possible, we work with other programs (e.g. cosmetology and construction) and departments to produce our shows.

During that time he has been the English department chair, the advisor to the student newspaper (The Barker), the chess club advisor, the advisor to the classes of 2004, 2014, and 2024, and served on countless committees. He has worked with the Colonial Theatre, the Westerly Center for the Arts, The Chorus of Westerly, The Prout Players, the Eugene O'Neil Theater, The American Musical Theater of New London, the Macon Little Theatre, and many more. He has performed on stage and on film in multiple roles, stage managed, designed and run lighting and sound, and directed. He is grateful for the opportunity to work with the talented young people of Westerly High School's Stagedogs!
