You will host or attend a mock trial with a minimum of 4 people in a group. You must have an even number because you will have 1 presenter and an uneven number of justices so that there is not a tie. This activity can be done either in class or on your own time.

Opening statements: What evidence/main points are going to be presented to prove your thesis?
Arguments: Give an argument for the competing sides. Present evidence that shows why each side was justified in their actions. Should this case be appealed? Which side do you think was in the right? Why?
Ruling: Justices make ruling if the case was ruled constitutional or whether it should be appealed.
Reflect: What did you learn about the case from this mock trial?
