Here at Central Academy, we are a self-paced school but what does mean?
If you are skillful at English, you can move faster. If you struggle in math, you can take the time to actually learn and master new skills without judgment, or fear of being left behind. However, often, students see "pacing" as an excuse to not do anything. Do not fall into this trap. Pacing is about you learning at your optimal pace-- it does not mean-- not doing anything until you are "motivated" or feel like it.
It is hard! But it can be done. And done well.
Ask each of your content specialists for the pacing guide for the course you are enrolled in. This is a great place to start.
