Step 1: Make a Copy of Lead a Scientific Investigation Lab Template below. In this lesson, you will only complete the first section, up to the first STOP! Message.
Step 2: Be sure to click the "Great Tips" link at the top of the Lab Template to help you avoid common mistakes.
Step 3: Complete Sci 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3, ONLY.
Step 4: Submit in Slate.
Step 5: Go talk to a science teacher about your work and whether you are ready to begin your investigation.
Step 1: Complete the Materials and Procedure sections of your lab template. Use the "Great Tips" link to avoid common mistakes for these sections.
Step 2: Submit to Slate, making sure to attach your investigation worksheet again.
Step 3: STOP! Go talk to your science teacher BEFORE you move on.
Step 1: Set up a time with your science teacher when you can do your investigation and collect data. The time should work for you AND your teacher!
Step 2: At the time you scheduled, follow your procedure and collect your data using Google Sheets.
Step 3: Clean up the area after you are done, and put all supplies and equipment away.
Step 4: Keep track of your data sheet, or where you saved your data on your computer!
Step 5: Submit your task in Slate and discuss your data with your Teacher before you continue.
This task is neccessary to complete your data analysis, so get it done even though nothing is assessed here.
