Please read the directions below to complete this assignment.

You will create outlines for two original short stories that include setting, characters, and basic plot elements. Submit to your Creative Writing Slate Classroom for instructor feedback.
After you have received feedback, you will select one outline and write the short story, paying attention to the development of the story line and characters, as well as providing an ending that is clear and logical.
The length of your story should be between 4-5 pages double-spaced (1,000 - 1,250 words).
Please submit two separate Google Docs (Times New Roman 12 font) for this assignment, one for the outline, one for the actual story.
Two links are provided below, one for ideas (in case you get stuck) and one on the actual process of writing a short story (wikiHow, Parts 1 and 2).
