The Memoir Prompt

Assignment 7: Plot Sequence Chart

Step 1: Now that you have chosen a topic, you need to do the pre-writing. Open the document on the right.

Step 2: Make a copy.

Step 3: Fill in the plot sequence chart with the major plot points of your story.

Writing Performance Task: Memoir

Step 1: Open a Google Doc.

Step 2: Format it in MLA format.

Step 3: Using the plot sequence chart above, write your unique memoir. Make sure to follow the directions in the Memoir prompt.

Step 4: When you are finished, use the revision checklist to verify that all the criteria for this assignment is met and rate your memoir based on the competencies below.

Step 5: Turn in your highlighted rough draft copy, your ratings of the assignment, and your final draft to SLATE. You will turn in 3 different things.
