Read about the different phases of Mitosis.
Complete the self check/comprehension assignment. Make a copy of the Google doc to the right and fill in the table/graphic organizer. Submit to Slate.

Stepping Stone #2:
Read the passage on Meiosis.
Refer back to the Stepping Stone #1 (Mitosis) and complete the graphic organizer of both processes.
Page 2 of this assignment will need to be printed off or drawn out with details of each of the phases process. Submit to Slate.
Stepping Stone #3:
Read Cancer: causes, types and treatments and watch the video on the right.
On the Google doc, take notes on reading and video. After reading and watching, list 10 facts. Submit to Slate
Stepping Stone #4:
Using the graphic organizer from stepping stone #2, and the two videos that are linked below - complete the five questions that are listed on a google doc.

Read this passage and view the slideshow to the right.
Complete the questions and take the Self Check Quiz (take a snip of your score and place the picture on the bottom of the document) Submit to Slate
Stepping Stone #7:
1. Print out the document to the right and follow the directions.
Turn in the final product and don't forget to submit to Slate.
Stepping Stone #8:
Complete the virtual lab on how the different types of light affect the growth of the different plant seeds. Please use the journal and data table to measure accurately. To complete the lab do an analysis of the data, explaining your findings. Suggestion: Print out the Journal questions and data table from the virtual lab before beginning.
Make sure you have completed all of the Stepping Stones for this section before moving onto Milestone 2 (Zoology).
