About this Stepping stone:

For this stepping stone you will be creating a rough draft of case study. You will be using your evidence data to make claims and explaining your graphical displays to help people to understand how your role (prosecutor or defense) uses the evidence in a case to claim guilty or not guilty.

  1. Review the case study format and Scientific investigation vs Forensic investigation documents below.

  2. Find your Your Choice: Data Table from MS 3, SS 4 and your courtroom roles mind map from MS 2, SS 3.

  3. Create a new Google Doc that has your name and performance task in the title

  4. Add in your mind map of the court members with a brief description of who the people were in your chosen case study

  5. Add in your evidence data table with a description of how that evidence led you to believe the person was guilty or not guilty of the crimes they were accused of committing.

  6. Complete the rest of the required case study elements

  7. Submit to Slate
