Who is Ms. April?

Welcome Acacia Owl Family! The 22-23 school year is here and I am excited to be apart of your child's learning process. This is my 12th year at Acacia where I am the BSA (Behavior Support Advocate). I have served in various positions while at Acacia from crossing guard, playground monitor, cafeteria monitor, ASA Before and After school Lead Instructional Assistant and more.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I attended Acacia Elementary, Desert Foothills Jr. High and Greenway High School. I live in New River, AZ with my husband of 22 years. We have four children Alexis (27), Payton (21), Jamie (19) and Cody (16). All four of my children attended the same schools as I did, with the exception of my son who is a Junior at Boulder Creek High School.

We are an active family who spend a lot of time outdoors. We love to camp, hike, hunt, and play in the desert surrounding our home in New River. We have a 3 year old Chihuahua named Bentley and a 6 month old American Bully named Bella who loves to go on adventures with us.
