ANEMOMETER CHALLENGE
Design and build an anemometer, an instrument for measuring the speed of wind. Test your anemometer on a windy day.

WIND VANE CHALLENGE
Watch the video to help you construct a wind vane. Test your wind vane on a windy day.

Materials: scissors, paper, straw, glue, pencil, push pin, thin cardboard, markers, ruler
CUP STAND CHALLENGE
Arrange the paper cups on two levels in a pattern that will hold your weight. Stand on the tiers to test the cups' strength.
Constraints: Use 20 paper cups or less
Materials: large paper cups, 2 pieces cardboard
RAINBOW OF FLAVOR CHALLENGE
Design a bin to hold a "rainbow of flavors". Fill up your container with Lucky Charms, Skittles, or M&Ms using a tool that you design.
Constraints: You may NOT use your hands. The tool you create may only pick up one item at a time. Time yourself for an extra challenge! Keep trying to beat your time each round.

4 LEAF FRISBEE CHALLENGE
Design a frisbee that is a 4 leaf clover. Use the video to guide you through this STEM activity.

GET THE GOLD CHALLENGE
Design and construct a tool that will get "gold" out of the pot quickly. Use the video above to help you with the activity.
Constraints: You only have 30 seconds to get gold out of the pot; must stay 12 inches away from the pot
