UNDER CONSTRUCTION as of February 24, 2025
WHEN: 9:30am-11:30am
WHERE: Wells Fargo Bank (the route heads south on Chelan, head East on Orondo, and north up Mission back to WFB)
WHAT: performing "March America" arranged by Dave Baldock; dress is USA colors, dress for weather
WHY: Honoring our national and regional military veterans
HOW: Parent Transport. The band hall will open from 9-9:15 for students to grab instruments, if necessary. Will reopen at 12:00PM to return instruments. Park in the small lot along Orchard St near the playfield or along the bus ramp.

WHERE: Triangle Park (along Miller St.) at 9:45 AM dressed and ready to play.
DRESS: Wear your BAND POLO SHIRT, fully-black shoes, black pants
ENDS AT: 5th and Mission.
The Band Hall at Orchard will be open from 9:00-9:15 am so that large instruments, banner, etc., can be retrieved. Please be prompt. I must leave promptly at 9:15 so I can walk up to the park by 9:30.
Orchard is #64 out of about 70 entries.
We will be taking our annual picture with Saddlerock in the background. Please be attentive and assist me in order to make that time be used efficiently and effectively.
Dress for rain. It won't be much, but you should be prepared just in case.
Those with long hair should put them in hair ties.

PARADE ROUTE
WHERE: Arrive at Memorial Park at 4:00 PM. 8th Grade Mariachi will perform 3-4 songs:

DRESS: Black shirt/shoes/pants and bow tie
Bring money to buy food, if you want.
4:15pm Arrive at Orchard MS
4:30pm Depart BY BUS for East Wenatchee
5:00pm Arrive at Eastmont Community Park 4-plex Little League Baseball Field
6:00pm Parade Starts
7:00pm-ish Parade ends near the Douglas County PUD
7:15pm-ish Depart for Orchard
CLASSY CHASSIS PARADE, MAY 5, 2023:
**Band and drill team members need to meet at Orchard by 4:15 for a prompt departure at 4:30. We will be traveling to Eastmont Community Park at 5:45 p.m. on ball field #3. We will be dropped off on the corner of 3rd Street and Georgia where where we will walk across the park to the staging area.
The parade will end at Douglas County PUD this year. With traffic being quite a difficulty, it will be more convenient for us to bus all the students back to Orchard promptly after the parade. Text Mr. Sandberg on Remind if you would like to make arrangements to pick up your child at the end of the parade.
BAND DRESS ATTIRE:
ALL Band members are to wear their blue band polo. Feel free to dress in dark-colored (bluish) shorts and tennis shoes. You are also encouraged to wear a hat and sunglasses, as the first half of the parade is directly into the sun.
**PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANYTHING THAT WILL NEED TO BE CARRIED BY ANOTHER PERSON.
Parents / guardians, please fill out the proper forms (available at the Orchard main office) if you plan on picking your child up at the end of the parade.
