Spellings

There are 2 groups for spellings according to the individual children's levels in spellings. We follow and over the week we complete different activities to practice spelling patterns in school. We also expect the children to practice their spellings at home so they are building fluency and confidence in the spelling patterns they are learning. We do a spell check on a Friday to check the children's spellings. 

Maths

Please encourage your child to go onto doodle maths at least 3 times a week. They will have their doodle log in from last year. 

Reading

Children must read aloud to an adult at least 3 times a week. This needs to be recorded in their reading record. Please ask them questions about what they have just read to help with their comprehension skills.
