Useful information and Home Learning

In this section, you will find useful information around what your child will be doing each term. Here we will outline your child's spellings, homework, PE days and book that we are sharing in class. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. 

Important days for your child

We have swimming for Term 1 and 2 on a Tuesday afternoon. Please send children in with their swimming kits. On a Wednesday, during Term 1, children will have forest school. Children can come to school in old clothes and bring their waterproofs and wellies with them! We are very excited to be doing this, this term. 

Reading at Home

We expect children to read at home at least three times per week. We would ideally like children to read more than this, but understand the busyness of life. We also expect parents to still listen to their child read as they are still learning to be fluent, show expression and understand what they are reading. Look back here and see what kinds of questions you could be asking them when you hear them read.
