At Sony Pictures, Convirza and Handango I held business reviews on either a quarterly or monthly basis. I found that a manageable set of KPIs was critical for each review.
At Sony Pictures I met in-country with team leads at least once per quarter. I solved the problem of budget cuts and growth targets by employing a matrix organization to leverage an existing global operations organization. I doubled International new media revenue after budget reductions by creating a matrix team and partnering with the sales teams of each line of business. I enhanced the coordination of budgets and strategic plans with corporate and territory partners to improve the US content pipeline and meet international business needs.

My own team and direct reports included TV programmers, Media producers (game, video, image, audio), sales & marketing in all major European markets, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Mexico, and Colombia.
Ran a $100-million business unit through a complex matrix organization of international television, networks, theatrical, and production. I pacified, pushed, and negotiated my way through sometimes competing for lines of business to grow new media revenue.
Handango:
Negotiated contracts with Motorola (23-country deal), Vodafone (Europe), TelCel (Mexico), DoCoMo (Japan), TIM (Brazil), and Samsung (Korea) among many others
Convirza:
As CEO and head of product at Convirza, I established contracts with Gannet (USA Today), Google, DISH, DirecTV, Twilio, and AWS.
