233 U.S. History 11 CP

Gr 11 | 6 Credits | Year-Long | 5x per Cycle

This is a course designed for students interested and capable of investigating topics independently and with support. Students will complete assignments covering an equivalent of one chapter per cycle in a text, read and interpret supplemental sources, and participate in class discussions about issues raised in the readings. Students will write multiple essays, one of which will be narrative, another analytic.  The course will help student's refine the posing of historical hypotheses by applying research techniques.
