232 U.S. History 11 ACP

Gr 11| 6 Credits | Year-Long | 5x per Cycle

This is a course designed for students interested and capable of investigating topics independently and with support. Students will complete assignments covering an equivalent of one chapter per cycle in a text, read and interpret supplemental sources, and participate in class discussions about issues raised in the readings. Students will write several essays, one of which will be historiographical.  The course will help refine student development of historical hypotheses and research techniques.
