222 Modern World History 10 ACP

Gr 10 | 6 Credits | Year-Long | 5x per Cycle

This class is for students who have maintained a strong standard of performance in social studies, and who possess solid reading, writing, comprehension, and critical thinking skills, skills which will be consistently targeted and refined throughout the year. The primary differences from the honors course are in the amounts and types of in-class support given to students to meet the expectations in the course. The course will develop the student's interpretation and evaluation of evidence, development of historical hypotheses, research techniques, and independence with critical thinking.
