917 Subharmonics

Gr 9 - 12 | 3 Credits | Year-Long | 3x per Cycle

Subharmonics is a non-auditioned choir that performs music specifically written for low voices (tenor, baritone, and bass). Literature is drawn from traditional and contemporary styles. Students will develop their vocal skills through exercises designed to meet the needs of the developing low voice. Subharmonics perform several times in concert. school. Occasionally, off-campus performances are scheduled including music festivals and community events. The Subharmonics will perform with other ensembles to gain experience singing choral music within a mixed chorus setting.
