916 Overtones
Gr 9 - 12 | 3 Credits | Year-Long | 3x per Cycle
Overtones is a non-auditioned choir that performs music specifically written for treble voices (soprano, mezzo soprano, and alto). Literature is drawn from traditional and contemporary styles. Students will develop their vocal skills through exercises designed to meet the needs of the developing soprano/alto voice. The Overtones perform several times in concert. Occasionally, off-campus performances are scheduled including music festivals and community events. The Overtones will perform with other ensembles to gain experience singing choral music within a mixed chorus setting.
