910D Sinfonia and Overtones
Gr 9 - 12 | 6 Credits | Year-Long | 5x per Cycle
Students alternate attendance between Sinfonia and Overtones which meet simultaneously. Note: Song Sisters will be renamed Overtones for the 2023-2024 School Year

Sinfonia Essential Skills:
Creating:
Students will generate instrumental interpretations that integrate aesthetic and stylistic principles with personal attitude.
Performing:
Students will perform with accuracy and expression works from the instrumental level ata MICCA level 2-4 (Scale 1-6)
Responding:
Students will analyze how one’s own cultural and personal can affect the criteria one uses to evaluate understanding and musical performance
Connecting:
Students will explain the development of the group’s vision as an ensemble and how it is represented in a performance.
