 Gr 10 - 12 | 6 Credits | Year-Long | 5x per Cycle

Thematic units for German 3 include: Fears in Life and Threats to our World, What is important for a happy life?, Human Rights and Civil Rights around the World. Through these units, students will learn about many aspects of German culture and life, and acquire new and useful vocabulary. Authentic materials (e.g., articles, videos, films, books) also provide the context for continued extension of grammar in context. Students are expected to communicate in German to the best of their abilities.

Performance Target: Intermediate-Mid on the ACTFL scale.  

This course is offered at the combined ACP/Honors level. Students will be placed in the Honors section for scheduling purposes only. Students will be able to designate which level they would like to be assessed at in the fall once they learn about course expectations.
